Note: If you're having trouble ripping Blu-Ray with an unlicensed version of MakeMKV, you will need to use the temporary beta activation key that can be obtained on the MakeMKV forum. MakeMKV profile support will likely be added later for users using expert mode in MakeMKV. Currently, Media Center will rip with MakeMKV using the default MakeMKV profile. Some settings will need to be set in MakeMKV. Multiple optical drives are supported and can be ripped from simultaneously. The ripped files will be saved to the appropriate folder set in Media Center. Check the titles in the dialog to select which to rip and click OK to start ripping with MakeMKV. When it's done, Media Center will create a dialog displaying the list of titles. Clicking 'Rip with MakeMKV' will send a command to open and scan the disc for titles. If the conditions are met, a new button will appear in the Rip Disc action window to 'Rip with MakeMKV'. JRiver Media Center will check to make sure the appropriate version of MakeMKV is present.
To rip using MakeMKV, click on 'Rip Disc' in the Action Window. You must have MakeMKV version 1.16.0 or later installed.

Side Note: I wish someone had done this for me, so all I would have to do is look up a specific movie and just select the 00002.mpls in tsmuxer and go. Now and forever Country of Origin for ALL my Blu-Ray are USA. Also Clown_BD doesn't seem to do well with branched discs it skips alot of the movie, It doesn't seem to know what. I don't see how this thread doesn't help much? what of those people that don't know what playlist to use or how to get to that point i think just telling them kinda allows them to stay noobs but for me i feel as tho I am building a database of branched discs. Mind you I come from DivX, XviD and XBMC from the days of olde when only us geeks had media servers and on-demand videos in every room including the bathroom! As for Region I just Keep forgetting to add it (Sorry). Hard Drives aren't that expensive and a little patience on a gigabit network with a popcorn hour for playback and you have a nice setup. I am unlike Like everyone out there trying to re-mux & compress Blu-Ray Perfection to mkv or convert to dvd (such a waste of quality). Man now I don't feel so alone in the world.

I totally agree Clown is a great frontend. One theory is rental/retail, but this has not been proved as there are 2 sources from a rental which also differ. Additionally there are 2 versions of 'Krabat' floating around sourced in Germany. I've got mainly region B disks and I know for a fact the playlist on the German 'Cars' is different to the UK & French versions to name one of many examples I know of. you don't qualify your postings with region or even the country you buy them in. Whilst your thread seems well intended, I don't think it helps much. i don't own a BD burner, but now have a media jukebox with 9tb. now i know from experience it was a complete waste of time. I remember when DVD came out and I used to transcode to DIVX, compress onto DVD5. Some people like to meddle, recode or whatever - then clearly CLI or another GUI could be for them. this probably is what 99% of the users actually want.
